Lowey at Nazare: WSL Tag Heuer Wipeout Entry

HUBBOX’s Pro surfer Tom Lowe has managed to become the first of many outstanding, and indeed, gut wrenching entries to the 2017 TAG Heuer Wipeout of the Year.

Last year, if you remember, he managed a late entry into the comp with a ludicrous take-off into free-fall at Puerto – seen here –  one of the longest free-falls ever caught on camera.

This year he has got in early and managed to throw himself off the edge of the world in Nazare, Portugal where Tom is spending the winter in an effort to get to grips with the place that currently lays claim to the biggest wave ever surfed.

Nazare has the dubious fortune to be located in the perfect place to take full advantage of the Atlantic swells which seem to be getting evermore frequent and intense. So watch this space, we will be bringing you more of Tom as a when the swells hit… stay safe Tom – see you in the spring.
